Greta Novak

Mobile Tools and Add-ons Specialist

Greta Novak tests Android add-ons, companion apps and plugin tools on real phones. She checks how small utility apps behave next to the big social apps they extend, with a focus on settings clarity, permissions and day to day reliability.

What Greta covers

Greta specialises in the small print of Android: companion apps, plugin tools and add-ons that live next to the big platforms. Her work on this site covers the TikTok Plugin app end to end, from its region module to its download folder behaviour, with each setting tested for what it does rather than what download pages claim it does.

How she works

Every review starts from verifiable facts: the package identity, the platform requirement and the permission set from public listings. Settings are then judged one group at a time, with the failure cases written up as honestly as the successes. If a claim cannot be verified, it does not appear, which is why some pages here say less than other sites and mean more of it.

Bench devices

Testing for this site uses the Galaxy A55, Pixel 8, Redmi Note 13 Pro, Infinix Note 40 Pro and Galaxy A13, so add-ons are seen on recent flagships and on the older, cheaper phones many readers actually own.
